Hi, I'm Katie, the founder of Full Moon Tea Company. Growing up in the South, my love of sweet things and tea (specifically good Southern sweet tea) started at a young age. My mother and Grandmother were excellent home bakers, and I have many fond memories of coming home from school to find warm brownies, cinnamon swirl bread, or carrot cake waiting on the counter.As they say, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, so it follows that as an adult I would achieve a degree in Baking & Pastry Arts. A decade long career in pastry of all forms followed, my taste buds being honed and refined. My love of culture, travel, and adventurous spirit guided my flavor combinations.
My love of good tea, and desire to learn about tea culture, also blossomed as an adult. I love a good fruity, iced herbal tea as much as a hot, cozy cup of Lady Grey tea in the morning. My love of tea houses, afternoon high tea events, and the ties that bind tea with pastries were the foundation for Full Moon Tea Company.
We dream up and create tea flavors that are fun, scrumptious, and inspiring; teas that wake up your day and your adventurous spirit.
