Spice Blends to Create Authentic International Meals

Though Asian and Eastern cuisines can seem intimidating, Karen Paly has taken the guesswork and the uncertainty out of the preparation by creating a variety of pre-packaged spice blends. Karen has fed a life-long appetite for curry, from her childhood in South Africa to her more than two decades of a full family life in Asheville. “When I was about five years old, I was first introduced to curry by my father and I instantly fell in love with the rich aroma and complex taste of one of the world's most delectable dishes. Since I was a young girl, I have spent countless hours in the kitchen, experimenting with spices, perfecting recipes, and creating gourmet, restaurant quality dishes with love. In 2015, she launched Karen’s Spice Kitchen to make and sell her own curry spice blends.  She’s been actively connecting with fans, while also seeking to make curry converts out of folks, one blended spice pack at a time. It’s been an entrepreneurial journey of learning the finer points of everything from food safety regulations to package design.
