Chuck eye steaks are one of our favorites. Similar to the ribeye, but smaller, these steaks have plenty of marbling and flavor but are available at a lower price point. They are easy to prepare in a cast-iron skillet or on the grill. Firsthand Foods sources its beef from a network of North Carolina family farmers, all of whom raise their animals humanely, outdoors on pasture without growth-promoting antibiotics or added hormones using all vegetarian feed. Our beef is Halal and dry-aged to optimize flavor. Filet mignon or beef tenderloin steaks are relatively lean but, as their name implies, also exceptionally tender, which is what makes them a special treat.
