It all started in Nashville with our band, Born Empty, and our house, which we affectionately dubbed “The BE Hive.” While on tour, we’d cook for people in exchange for letting us crash on their floors. When back home, we hosted vegan potlucks at our house. This turned into community-fueled weekly vegan buffest at a local vegetarian restaurant, where we dialed in our cooking skills and perfected our seitan recipe. Now here we are, sharing that recipe with you. Enjoy! Life is tight.
